Windows 8 Questions

Windows 8  in it zoomed out appearance

Windows 8 is an amazing looking OS, despite the steep learning curve. Every person who has to take training for it will tell you that. It makes up for it when you find out how to get everything working. So in this fact, Microsoft has learned a little off of Android and a little off of Apple. In the aspects of Android, it has a learning curve; but it's many different features such as the ability to search any app, look at the settings, etc. It also has cloud storage and personal settings that is linked to any Windows 8 devices when you log in with any particular device. It's nice that tech companies actually learn from each other and not rip each other apart like two politicians running for public office. In retrospect, it's a nice OS for people that want everything at their fingertips and organized. If you ever get to sit down and actually learn how to use it, you definitely won't regret it.

Problem with your battery life on your Android phone?

If you have a problem with an HTC Android phone, what you do is go to a blank part of the screen, long-press a certain spot and go to Widgets. Once you're there, go to Settings and use the Mobile Network widget. If you turn this off, you can still make phone calls and send texts. With a regular Android phone, there is an app that you can download and install called ZD Box. It has a customizable widget where you can turn off the Mobile Network, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. It also runs an app killer so you can make sure you're not running something that does something separate. It's all in this app. If you have an questions,, don't be afraid to post a comment.

AT&T bought out T-Mobile?

Well this was unforeseen. However though, I have a strange being that AT&T plan prices are going to drop. After all , next to Sprint, T-Mobile has the best plan prices. Verizon getting the iPhone and then Sprint stepping up their game with the Evo 4G, Epic 4G, HTC Arrive, and the Nexus One - this year is going to be an interesting year for mobile technology.
